This page contains a variety of help, tips, and answers to frequently asked questions.
Why does the link to a specific bargain not work?
Some ad blockers, popup blockers, and other software interfere with many merchant links. See our Link Problems page for solutions.
What types of bargains are offered here?
There are basically two types of bargains: coupons and sales. Coupons are codes that are entered to get a special discount. Sales are special prices on specific item or group of items.
Can bargains be combined?
That depends. Usually, a single coupon can be combined with a sale price. Most stores don't allow use of more than one coupon per order. See the store detail page for more information on a particular store's policies.
What other restrictions are there on coupons?
Once again, that varies from store to store. Some coupons are only for new customers. Some coupons only apply to specific product categories. Coupons typically do not apply to shipping and taxes. Some merchants have a small group of non-discountable items to which coupons do not apply. Most coupons can only be used once per customer. Unless stated otherwise, most coupons listed here are for either new or returning customers, can be used only once per customer, can be applied to any product, and cannot be combined with other coupons. If you find exceptions that aren't clearly marked, please let me know.
Where do I enter a coupon code?
Some coupons are automatically applied when you click through the link. Others must be entered in the shopping cart or during checkout. The field where you enter the code varies from store to store. Some call it a "Coupon Code", a "Promotion Code", or other similar names. See the store detail page for more information on where to enter coupon codes for a specific store.
What should I do if my coupon/discount isn't reflected during checkout?
Don't place the order. Report the bargain by clicking on "Changed? Expired?". Your feedback on expired or non-working bargains helps keep this site as up-to-date as possible.
Where do these coupons and bargains come from?
Some come directly from the stores. Some come from visitors to Amazing-Bargains.com. Some come from newsletters, message boards, and other web sites. All are believed to be accurate and legitimate for you to use.
Why do some bargains expire early?
Unlike printed coupons, most online stores reserve the right to change offers at any time. Some bargains are based on both a time frame and a certain promotion budget. If the bargain is more popular than expected, the marketing budget for the bargain runs out earlier than anticipated and the coupon gets pulled early.
What should I do if I have a customer service issue?
Call the store directly and try to get the problem resolved. I list toll free customer support numbers for most of the stores, and their customer service departments are usually wonderful at handling problems. If you can't get a problem resolved directly, please let me know. Sometimes I can help, and if too many customers report problems I will remove a store.
What can I do to make sure I won't have any problems?
First, make sure that your coupons, discounts, and sale prices are reflected before you finalize your order. Second, save copies of your confirmation page, confirmation e-mail, shipping notice, and any other correspondence. Third, make sure to check your products after you receive them. If any returns are necessary, make sure to follow the store's RMA guidelines and ship it back with an insured, trackable carrier.
What are some of the ways to best use this site?
If you're new here, you'll want to check out our Top Bargains page and/or our Main Page, which lists a sampling of the newest bargains, expiring bargains, and top bargains. If you're shopping at a particular store, the Stores page provides links to every store we list. If you're shopping for a particular category of items, our Category page has links to each category, or use the Category links in the right column here. Our regular visitors like to shop the New Bargains and Expiring Bargains pages. The menu at the top of each page lets you quickly and easily access any of these general pages. Any time you see a store name listed, you can click on that store name to go to a listing of all of the bargains for that store.
